Corruption

One of Poland’s biggest problems, which is the cause of many other issues, such as abortion laws, is corruption in Courts and politicians. The current government is politicising the judiciary in an attempt to railroad through their controversial laws and trying to try to stay in power as long as possible, by hurriedly implementing laws that directly appeal to their power base. The EU is seriously looking into this extremely serious anti-democratic policy. The current government also has a very suspicious financial relationship with the Church. There are currently no taxes paid by the Church, or anyone related with it such as pastors and there are many cases of pastors becoming extremely rich.
